Designed for educators, families, & therapists, and to be used across multiple environments- repetition & consistency is key! Simply model the vocabulary on the board when your learner starts to become dysregulated or is seeking sensory input (e.g. point to the symbol and say “Is it too loud?”, “Let’s move away?”, “Let’s get your headphones”, etc.). Start by modelling 1-2 symbols & increase this over time as your learner becomes more familiar with their board.
